Research Visit at HSE University Moscow

HSE University provides research visit opportunities for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s degree or PhD programme.

Timeline:

Step 0

Are you majoring in Computer Science?

If yes, please follow this link for more information about internship options.

If not, please proceed to Step 1 on this page.
Step 1
Submit an application package. You will be asked to attach:
- a CV
- an application form (template)
- a scan of your transcript of records from your home institution
- if available: a letter of support from your academic supervisor at your home institution and/or HSE University.
Step 2

Receive confirmation of form receipt from HSE Student International Mobility Office (SIMO).
Step 3

In two weeks, receive your application status update from SIMO.

If your application is accepted, SIMO will give you contact info of the international coordinator of the relevant HSE faculty.
Step 4

Agree on your visit details with the international coordinator at an HSE faculty.
Step 5

Receive a letter of invitation and acceptance confirmation from your HSE coordinator and apply for your Russian visa to the Russian consulate.
Step 6

Come to Russia and carry out your planned activities.
