Orientation session takes place at the end of August or at the beginning of January before every semester. In order to adjust to student life, it is essential that you participate in the Orientation Session as it will provide you with information on studying at HSE University, living in Moscow, migration and visa rules, as well as other useful tips to help you better enjoy your experience in Russia.

Orientation Session for Fall 2026 students will run:

- from 27 to 28 August - in English

At Day 2, you will be asked to fill in and sign some forms:

1) Arrival Form

2) Consent for Personal Data Processing

3) Acknowledgment form for HSE University's Charter and Key Internal Bylaws

4) Rules for Visa and Migration Support and Compliance With Russian Federation Migration Law (fill in this file in Russian; you can read the English translation here)

It is recommended to look through these forms in advance.
