Dates: 8 July - 2 August, 2024

Description: 4-week English-taught course study program for college students from all over the world. Starting from 2012, the program has welcomed more than 5,000 students in the past 11 years. It helps students achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from all over the world. Fudan University's degree students will also participate in the program. So students will have the opportunity to get to know Shanghai and China, and become part of the Fudan community.

 

FISS 2024 is going to be during July 08 - August 02, 2024. FISS 2024 (https://iss.fudan.edu.cn/) will offer about 26 content courses taught in English, 2 PE courses (Chinese Folk Dane and Chinese Kungfu), and 3 Chinese language courses at different levels. Various extracurricular and social activities, such as Fudan campus tour, ice-breaking, Shanghai city exploration, company visits, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese ceramic art, etc., will also be arranged for students to experience the Chinese culture and the wonders of Shanghai, and get connected with each other who are all brilliant young people from both China and abroad. 

Fee: 400 CNY/person, and tuition is 22,000 CNY/person. HSE University students can enjoy 10% discount. Courses start on July 08 and end on August 02, 2024.

Description: The University of Hong Kong Summer Institute (HKUSI) offers a wide variety of summer programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students. 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) programme

Application deadline: 28 May 2024. The result will be announced on 3 June.

Description: SURF provides a great opportunity for undergraduate students to work together with XJTLU academic staff on research projects during the summer, through which the students can apply knowledge acquired in the class and to develop practical and presentation skills. The main aim of the SURF programme is to stimulate the research interest and creativity of undergraduate students.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students who are in stage 1, 2 or 3 of their undergraduate studies at one of XJTLU’s partner universities (confirmed by X-Global).

Description: For one week, KU offers students the opportunity to discuss their ideas with internationally recognized experts and to develop them further. Students will learn how to promote themselves with a poster at scientific conferences and can expand their network in science and practice. Students will learn how „Design Thinking“ as an innovation method can help them to get to the heart of your ideas. The main topics of the camp include: Diversity & Social Justice, Transformation & Ethics, Participation, Democracy & Social Polarization and Reduction of Inequalities.

Target group: graduate students (those who are completing their Master’s degree at the moment or have already completed it).

Scholarship: covers the cost of travel, accommodation and meals for those who are accepted.

Description: During the summer school, you'll study the political, economic, cultural and social achievements and challenges of the European Union, as well as expand your knowledge on topics such as the art history, gastronomy and folk traditions of Europe. You can learn together with students from many different countries for two weeks and broaden your perspectives about the contributing factors that led to contemporary Europe, including migration, cultural diversity, gender issues. The classes will be taught by internationally renowned professors.

Description: The Rothberg International School (RIS) at Hebrew University offers a wide array of short-term courses and programs throughout the year. You can choose courses from our July, August, and winter sessions, as well as elect to take language courses or participate in archaeological field schools. 

Description: In 2024 Summer courses in New Geographies of Risk, Contemporary Art & Curatorship, along with a specialised Summer School in collaboration with Study in Venice will be offered. 

 

Description: Two tracks of comprehensive, grammar-focused instruction are designed to offer undergraduate and graduate students in any discipline of premodern China or Japan a solid linguistic foundation for the reading of classical texts. Both tracks are taught by the principal instructors of the classical language programs at Ca’ Foscari and Princeton. In addition to language classes, students will follow a lecture series on topics in premodern Chinese and Japanese culture (history, literature, thought). Both tracks welcome students who are beginners in Classical Chinese or Japanese, as well as those who already have some background foundation.
