HSE Students Presented University at Study Abroad Information Fair
Dmitry Mkrtychan, Maria Dmitrieva and Anastasia Khokhlova, students of the international programme of academic mobility at Tilburg University, represented HSE at the fair. The students prepared booklets, photos, promo videos and other informational materials about the Higher School of Economics.
About 50 people visited the HSE booth during the event. The bright and colourful decoration of the stand attracted a lot of attention from visitors to the fair, and the HSE ambassadors barely had time to answer everybody’s questions. Not only students from the Netherlands, who get state support and grants for study abroad programmes, but also students from South America and Turkey wanted to learn more about HSE.
Dmitry, Maria and Anastasia noted that many international students think that Russia is a mysterious, unusual and culturally rich country that is a magnet for visitors. Moreover, students who study mathematics are particularly keen to continue their education in Russia. Our HSE representatives hope that their efforts can help to attract more international students to HSE.
