Fall 2019: Application Statistics

In total during the Call for Fall 2019 we received 703 applications for the exchange in 63 partner universities (out of 69 universities opened for application) from 369 BA and MA students (HSE campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod).

Fall 2020: Second Call

The second call  for the international student mobility within university-wide agreements in Fall 2020 is open from April 15.

Spring 2019: Application Statistics

In total during the Call for Spring 2019 we received 260 applications for the exchange in 47 partner universities (out of 62 universities opened for application) from 140 BA and MA students (HSE campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod).

In total during the Call for Fall 2018 we received 573 applications for the exchange in 63 partner universities (out of 67 universities opened for application) from 327 BA and MA students (HSE campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod).

On June 23, an international academic mobility fair took place at HSE. Over 25 universities from Europe, USA, China and Japan took part in the event.

HSE Students in All Fields of Study Can Now Choose Exchange Programmes in China

HSE and East-China Normal University (ECNU) have signed a new student exchange agreement expanding the range of opportunities for student mobility in all areas of studies, including social studies, humanities, and philosophy, as well as computer science, mathematics, and physics. The agreement was signed as part of the ECNU delegation’s visit headed by Tong Shijun, chairman of the ECNU University Council, to HSE.

Linguistics School Students’ Expedition to Guatemala
Elizaveta Vostokova and Alexandra Kozhukhar, students at the School of Linguistics, took part in the expedition to Guatemala in June 2016. The event was organized by the University of Maryland and was dedicated to research into the Kaqchikel Maya people. The expedition was led by Maria Polinsky, Professor of Linguistics, Omer Preminger, Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics, and  Pedro Mateo, Assistant Research Professor at the Maryland Language Science Center. During the first two weeks of the expedition, the participants studied the Kaqchikel language, the rest of the time they spent working with native speakers.
