‘The ability to work as a team and the communication skills acquired at HSE undoubtedly helped me in my studies’. Nadezhda Antonova, HSE graduate in Management, spent a semester in the Netherlands as part of an exchange programme. She shared her impressions and told us about her everyday study life.

A free six months of study at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. Each year one lucky student from the Global Business Master’s Programme is given this lucky ticket. The programme not only gives the student incredible work experience and the opportunity to study in one of the world’s leading economic regions, but the master’s student will also receive a diploma from the Austrian university. This year, the winner was Anna Zotova.

While some graduates are preparing for MA enrollment exams, others have already received confirmation from international universities. Graduates from the Faculty of Computer Science tell us about their decision to continue their studies abroad, the enrollment procedure, computer science courses available in international universities, and the role of fundamental math in studying economics.

HSE Nizhny Novgorod Management faculty students Anastasia Shikina and Alesya Zaporozhchuk have returned after a year in Austria’s Johannes Kepler University. They share their impressions of studying at our partner university.

‘The University of Passau is the youngest HEI in Bavaria but has earnt itself a good reputation since it opened in 1978,’ says Svetlana Maltseva, Academic Supervisor of the Master’s programme in Big Data Systems. ‘For more than ten years the university has occupied a leading position in German and European rankings in Law, Management and International Relations.’

HSE Laboratory for Comparative Social Research sign partnership agreement with the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute

The students’ exchange programme between ICEF HSE and Istanbul Bilgi University starts in September 2015. In the first semester of the next academic year several ICEF students will go to study at Bilgi University and Bilgi University students will spend a term at ICEF. The universities will also develop plans for cooperation between ICEF and Bilgi academics.

First-year student at the Postgraduate School in Philology Anastasia Preobrazhenskaya is starting a two-month fellowship at the Artes Liberales department of the University of Warsaw. She has spoken to HSE News Service about her experience studying at HSE and future academic plans.

Alexandra Bassel, student of the full-time advanced postgraduate programme at the School of Philology, told HSE News Service about her internship at the University of Göttingen.
